Chris is as Supply chain professional with knowledge in Accounting and Data analysis with a good record and experience in demand and supply planning in the manufacturing Industry. His greatest strengths are business awareness, analytical thinking, accounting knowledge, people management and charisma which enables him to be competitive in the supply chain and business world.
He has been instrumental in the transformation of Demand Planning discipline in East Africa with his most recent achievements with Nestle being developing a monthly business planning structure for the export market (East and Horn of Africa) which incorporated collaborative foresting with the distributors and as a result improved the planning process for the complex export market. This achievement saw Chris scoop an award from the Nestle ESAR CEO as Africa Rising star of the year 2023 to recognize the great work done to improve overall supply chain planning.
Chris recently joined Diageo Kenya as part of a team to foresee the transformation of the current traditional Demand Planning to the future Integrated Business Planning model that seeks to integrate data, technology and leverage on cross-functional know-how to drive business planning and performance.
Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from Egerton University as well as a Certificate in Certified Public Accounting from KASNEB.
