At Sirius, we are committed to conducting our businesses in a sustainable manner that guarantees the health and safety of our staff, contractors, clients, visitors, and host communities. We strive to continually improve by using a combination of proactive and reactive monitoring techniques from which progress towards those objectives are be measured.

We encourage a “no blame” culture with regards to H&S reporting. All reported issues are duly investigated to identify the causes and prevent re-occurrence.

To this end, we aim to:

  • Provide and maintain a physically and mentally safe and healthy working environment.
  • Comply with all applicable legal and corporate requirements in relation to Safety and Health whilst developing and maintaining appropriate emergency response programs.
  • Conduct our services safely to prevent accidents and incidents.
  • Encourage a preventative action culture through conducting risk assessments associated with our activities.
  • Ensure strict adherence to security and safety guidelines while undertaking our operations.
  • Ensure all incidents are reported, recorded and appropriate corrective actions taken while actively encouraging feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Engage and collaborate with contractors and sub-contractors to ensure their health and safety capability and competence fulfill our expectations.
  • Communicate this policy to all interested parties including the staff, public and all persons working under the control of or on behalf of the company with the intention of making them aware of their individual H&S obligations.
  • Adhere to processes, specifications, and procedures to achieve Customer Satisfaction.

Our policy will be delivered by generating and embracing a culture that does not tolerate threats to physical nor mental health and safety and will be reviewed and amended, as and where necessary.
